Custom Arrow Builder

The Custom Arrow Builder is a guided way to spec a matched set of arrows for your exact bow: you give it your bow type, draw weight, draw length, point weight, and intended use, and it recommends an arrow spine and walks you through choosing the shaft, point, nock, and fletching — cut to length and assembled. It is being built and will launch soon. It is not live on this page yet, so nothing here can be ordered.

While the builder is in development, two things are useful right now: the live FOC calculator for checking an arrow’s front-of-center balance, and the full set of archery calculators and tools.

What the builder will do

Picking arrows well means matching shaft spine to your bow and draw, then balancing point weight, length, and fletching for how you shoot. The builder turns that into a clear, step-by-step flow instead of a spreadsheet — and it shows its reasoning, so you learn why a given spine is right rather than just being handed a part number.

  1. Tell us about your setup

    Bow type, draw weight, draw length, point weight, and what you shoot for — target, 3D, or hunting. These are the inputs that actually drive arrow choice.

  2. Get a spine recommendation, explained

    The builder reads manufacturer spine charts to suggest the right shaft stiffness for your numbers — shown with the reasoning, never as a black box, and always with a “confirm it with a coach” path.

  3. Build the arrow

    Choose the shaft, then point and insert, nock, and vanes or feathers, and add cut-to-length and fletching service so the set arrives ready to shoot.

  4. Save the build for easy reorders

    Keep your finished setup as a saved build, so reordering a known-good set of arrows later is one step instead of starting over.

Why we are building it carefully

An arrow that is poorly matched to your bow shoots worse and, in the wrong direction, can be unsafe — so the spine recommendation has to be right, and it has to be honest about its limits. Every recommendation the builder makes will come with its reasoning and a clear path to confirm the setup with one of our USA Archery–certified coaches before you commit to a full dozen.

We would rather ship this once it genuinely helps than rush a half-built configurator. That is why this page is honest about where things stand: the tool is coming, and this is what it will do when it arrives.
